Each week on TV Diner, Billy and the crew will be visiting a new destination! Billy will include quick info and interviews featuring people and places you have to check out! For our first destination TV Diner went down to Boston’s Seaport District to see why everyone has been talking about this up-and-coming neighborhood! Billy checks out the unbelievable brand new Institute of Contemporary Art on Boston’s waterfront. We experience some contemporary art, as well as some of the legendary Wolfgang Puck’s creations that can be experienced inside the ICA at Water’s Café. Despite all the new things happening in the Four Point Channel, we could not do a feature without including the incredible Barking Crab. It’s a hot spot all year round with seafood that will be a sure bet! Then Billy meets up with pastry queen Joanne Chang of Flour Bakery to check out her new spot in the making!

Do you know which North Shore Massachusetts town claims to be the “Birthplace of Americas Navy?” Well much to Marblehead’s chagrin its BEVERLY, MA! Billy checks out this waterfront town and all the awesome dining options it has to offer! Billy learns all about muddled drinks from Dori the bartender expert at the fairly recent chic addition to Cabot Street SOMA. He then chats it up with Artist Director Jon Kimbell of the North Shore Music Theatre. This theatre in the round hosts some of the countries most exclusive musical theatre performances. Coming this season; High School Musical and Les Miserables! Check them out at Billy heads over to the train station to let you know just how easy it is to get to this town from almost anywhere! While at the train station he hits up another Beverly staple The Beverly Depot that is a perfect family spot or after work venue to relax with an adult beverage and some awesome comfort food with an out of this world salad bar! 1. Everyone has been talking about Oishii’s new location in the South End, arguably one of the hottest culinary neighborhoods in the city. We have heard unbelievable things about Chef Ting San who makes each dish with the freshest ingredients and utmost creativity, turning this Japanese cuisine into works of art. The emphasis has been said to be on creating the ultimate dining experience for each and every customer, and of course we had to check out what all the buzz was about! 2. We heard that if you enjoy Windows on the Water you have to check out their newest creation. The freshly opened White Porch Bistro features a relaxed pub like atmosphere, unique seafood dishes, comfy furniture and table games like Backgammon, Checkers, Scrabble to enjoy. 3. Blue on Highland just opened up down the road from the NECN headquarters and is supposed to be a real exciting dining spot for Needham. With a connection to Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, you can expect live music. We have heard this urban upscale dining destination was worth checking out, so we did! We are beginning a rotation of New England’s most well known chefs to teach us a thing or two that we should know in the kitchen.
